Nnamdi Nwaezeapu provides limited scope document review services through Dott. This engagement is strictly limited to reviewing the specific document you submit and providing written analysis identifying issues, risks, and suggested revisions.
This engagement is limited to advice and communications regarding federal employment law only, including the Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA), the Older Workers Benefit Protection Act (OWBPA), Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, the Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act (WARN), and the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA).
This engagement does not include advice on:
If your situation involves state-law claims, you should consult with an attorney licensed in the state where you are employed. See "Referral to State Counsel" below.
Nnamdi Nwaezeapu is admitted to practice law in the State of New York. He is not admitted to practice in any other state. Services provided through Dott are rendered in his capacity as a New York-licensed attorney advising on federal law only. By proceeding with this engagement, you acknowledge that you understand and accept this jurisdictional limitation.
If issues arise in your matter that require advice on state law — including but not limited to state discrimination statutes, state wage-and-hour claims, state non-compete enforceability, or state-specific procedural requirements — Dott will refer you to licensed counsel in your state. Such a referral does not extend this engagement or create any obligation by Nnamdi Nwaezeapu to advise on state-law matters.
Dott does not guarantee the availability, quality, or terms of any referred attorney, and does not receive referral fees in connection with such referrals.
This is NOT full legal representation. Specifically, this engagement does not include:
The attorney-client relationship created by this engagement is limited solely to the specific document review requested and the federal-law matters addressed in the delivered work product. It does not extend to:
Our legal analysis represents the professional judgment of the reviewing attorney based on the information provided. Legal issues often involve subjective analysis, and different attorneys may reach different conclusions on the same matter.
We do not guarantee specific outcomes, results, or that our review will identify every potential issue. Legal documents can involve complex or novel issues where the law is unclear or evolving.
While we maintain professional liability insurance, our maximum liability for any claim arising from this engagement is limited to the fees you paid for the specific review giving rise to the claim.
Your documents and our communications are protected by attorney-client privilege and will be kept confidential, except as required by law or professional ethics rules.
This engagement is governed by New York law and the New York Rules of Professional Conduct. Any dispute arising from this engagement shall be resolved under New York law.
You should engage separate legal counsel if:
This limited scope engagement concludes when we deliver the agreed work product. Either party may terminate before delivery, but fees are non-refundable except as provided in our Terms of Service.
